Here I am at 5 months. I enjoy going to the dog park almost every day. I spent the time with the babysitter while my parents went to San Diego. My brother Ryan who I have never met is going to be home tomorrow. I bet we have a lot of fun and he will be home for a while.
The latest information on the wonderful Golden that we brought into our lives.

Here I am at 9 weeks. I am growing daily. I am getting braver. Parents have left me in the kitchen with my food and water. I was insulted by the fact that they left me with a puppy pad. So, I tore it to shreds. I am still chasing the cats and barking at them. They tend to run away, but if I get one of them cornered they sure do like to slap me. Still waiting for my brother Ryan to get home.

9weeks old and what a life. I am getting at least 5 walks a day, and treats. I think that I know how to sit, come, poop outside and pee too most of the time. My teeth are really sharp so I get lots of chews. Occassionally I get a micro bite of cheese which drives my nose absolutely nuts. I still like my kennel. It is a safe place to sleep. My sitter comes every day during the week around 1:30pm She spends an hour with me so that I am not alone all day. I am starting to grow some longer hair under my tail. Mom is impressed with this. I do like those Charlie Bear treats and they got me some dog buscuits from that St 'agnes bakery, they have all kinds of yummies in them. We got a new watering fountain over the weekend. Now there are "watering holes" in each bathroom. The new one holds a lot more so I don't run out. Those cats have started getting their food in mom's bathtub. I just can't reach into there. They get that delicious wet stuff that smells fabulous. I definitely can't reach any of it now.
Each day is an adventure.

There is a lot happening at my new house. I came home on Sunday. Monday mom stayed home with me. She left me in the kennel for a while, she was gone. We slept in. I love the big Temprapedic bed. Very comfortable. We went to the vet in the afternoon, more shots, more check ups. Got my chip. Now no one can steal me now.
Dad is teaching me how to go on walks. We go for a short block. I have to hold the leash in my mouth.
Today they left me home alone in the morning. MOM came home for the afternoon. We had our set up for the Day Care worker. She will come to my house around lunch so I can have lunch. Go outside and empty my bladder.
If I like her real well we may have her come for a long time.
I actually am spending more time in my wire kennel. I got off mom's lap today and went and walked into my kennel and laid down. I think I am liking my kennel much better.
Now I still sleep often.

How it all started.....
Here I am with part of my family. My adoptive family, Mom and Dad, Ann and Jim came to visit on a Wednesday night. We were invited to "sit on the floor" and get to know all of us. I was in rare form. Talking back at 3 weeks. They really liked me then, but they had to wait to see what kind of a guy I really turned out to be. There I am, the one with the purple ribbon.
